Sofia Rudzevitchii assists clients in situations where they need to navigate the complex healthcare system with legal certainty.
The healthcare sector is characterized by a complex interplay of licensing law, reimbursement law, professional regulations, and corporate law requirements. Legal decisions regularly have a direct impact on economic development and the day-to-day operations of medical practices and hospitals. Sofia Rudzevitchii develops legally sound and economically viable solutions that take into account both the day-to-day realities of medical practice and her clients’ strategic goals. She provides clarity on opportunities and risks and consistently represents her clients’ interests – both in litigation and in the enforcement and defense of claims.
She advises and represents physicians and medical facilities, including private practices, group practices, medical care centers, and hospitals. Her practice focuses in particular on medical corporate law, advising on the establishment, acquisition, and sale of medical facilities, the legal structuring and support of private practice and medical care center structures, as well as representation in licensing, vacancy-filling, and (third-party) appeal proceedings.
Another area of focus is medical fee law and fee disputes, particularly in recourse and reduction proceedings. In addition, she practices medical malpractice law, both in asserting and defending against claims for damages.
